Gloria Kim Johnston

Johnston EHS owner Kim Johnston delivers vast knowledge in occupational health and safety. Her working relationship with industry experts across the country make the Ohio Valley Training Center more equipped than any in the area.

 

The medical services at the Ohio Valley Training Center are provided under her direction.

 

Kim is an occupational health nurse with over 48 years of experience in the industry. She has extensive experience with OSHA recordkeeping and medical management of injuries, helping to reduce workers' compensation costs. Through the years, she has been very involved with developing and implementing health surveillance worksite monitoring and education programs which meet corporate, state, federal, and OSHA guidelines – specifically respiratory protection and hearing conservation. She is a provider for E.A.R. Inc. and has been making custom molded silicone earplugs for the past 23 years.

 

Kim has extensive knowledge in performing health assessments. Her certifications include:

• Active RN Licensure in the states of Ohio and West Virginia

• CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor with the American Heart Association

• Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist

• NIOSH-approved Spirometry Certification

She is also a member of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses.
